Ted Harty

Ted Harty is the founder of Immersion Freediving and his new pride and joy FreedivingSafety.com. He recently launched a podcast Freedive Live to help people freedive deeper, stay longer, and become safer.

Ted is a PFI Instructor Trainer, past USA Freediving record holder, and Captain of the USA Freediving Team in the World Championships.

His deepest dive is 279ft (85m), and his longest breath-hold is 7 minutes.

He has appeared on the Discovery Channel with Tim Kennedy, has worked with Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter, and trained fitness guru and podcaster Ben Greenfield.
